Event Registration

On behalf of New Hope Helping (the new name for the New Hope-Solebury Community Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization), thank you for registering for the 2022 New Hope Automobile Show. Net proceeds benefit local community projects and charitable organizations.

1. RAIN OR SHINE. The New Hope Automobile Show is a rain or shine event--there is no Rain Date. Your registration fee is considered a charitable donation to our parent 501(c)(3) organization and, as such, is nonrefundable. Your donation is greatly appreciated!

2. ELIGIBILITY STANDARDS. Most of our classes are limited to original, preserved or restored vehicles Model Year 1997 or older. Classes without model year restrictions, or classes which allow modified cars, are noted in the descriptions of said classes.

3. DISPLAY STANDARDS. The hallmark of the New Hope Automobile Show has always been the quality of the vehicles at our Show. Our spectators and your fellow Show car owners deserve nothing less.

3(a) Show-Ready: We invite owners of well-maintained, show-ready (washed, waxed, vacuumed, de-cluttered) vehicles to register for our Show.

3(b) Presentation: Show car owners are welcome to display informational signage about their vehicles. Any items displayed in and around vehicles must relate directly to the vehicle.

(3(c) For Sale Signs Prohibited: Except for vehicles registered in the Car Corral, "For Sale" signs are not permitted on show cars.

3(d) Fire Extinguisher: Show cars owners are required to possess and display a functioning UL A-B-C or B-C fire extinguisher. Display at the front left wheel (or equivalent). Vehicles not displaying a functional fire extinguisher WILL NOT BE JUDGED.

3(e) Sound systems: Any sound system must be OFF during official Show hours unless the system is configured to be heard using personal ear-buds only.

4. JUDGING STANDARDS. In classes composed of original, preserved or restored vehicles, Judges will evaluate each vehicle against our standards of authenticity, originality, cleanliness, and condition. In classes where modifications are permitted, Judges will evaluate each vehicle against our standards of workmanship, fit-and-finish, integrity of design, cleanliness, and condition.

5. VENUE RESTRICTIONS MANDATED BY STATE LAW: Because the Show is conducted on School property, State Law prohibits possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages and the use of tobacco products in any form.

6. YOUR AGREEMENT: Your registration submission to the 2022 New Hope Automobile Show constitutes your agreement to follow all applicable rules and regulations. We reserve the right to refund registration fees and refuse admittance to, or eject, any vehicle and owner not up to these standards.
